Additional Diamond Aircraft
Diamond Aircraft that are Currently Under Development:
The Diamond DA50 Magnum will be an unpressurized single-engine composite aircraft. The DA50 features the largest cabin in its class at 52 inches wide and five seats. The DA50 is still in the design stages, but Diamond Aircraft is working hard to get the DA50 into full production.
The Diamond DA52 will be a seven seat, twin-engine powered aircraft that is based on the fuselage of the DA50 Magnum. The initial DA52 prototype, which was powered by Austro AE300 turbo-diesel engines, first flew on April 3, 2012 after six months of development. The DA52 will appeal to owner-flown pilots and is expected to have a cruise speed of 190 kts and a range of 1,240nm.
This owner-flown Very Light Jet (VLJ) will be an easy transition from any high-performance single engine aircraft. The vision of the D-Jet is to offer ease of operation, cutting edge technology and low acquisition costs. Roomier than most business jets with the affordability and operation of a piston, the Diamond Jet is sure to be a one-of-a-kind aircraft that is both exciting and versatile.
